Kirby Contracting LTD is a small family run excavation business, established in 2022 and is based in Kelowna BC

With over a decade of experience in the Civil and Gas industries, my construction knowledge and abilities are an excellent asset to help finish your next project. My exemplary skills in excavation and leadership have been key factors in my promotion to foreman and supervisory roles for previous employers. These positions have given me hands-on experience leading and organizing personnel, equipment and contractors to finish jobs efficiently and safely. My organizational and interpersonal skillset allows me to thrive in fast-paced, busy and evolving work sites. This makes my business an excellent candidate for working on jobs requiring coordination with other trades and contractors. Those who have worked with me can attest to my ability to complete jobs and tasks with extreme focus and organization, while maintaining the skills to pivot and adapt when the scope of work is changed.

Our Services

  • slab prep, foundation digs and backfills, stump removal, loading out asphalt or concrete, prepping for asphalt or concrete, digging shallow utility trenches, or deep utility trenches.

    you name it! if I can get a machine in there, I will get it done.

  • if any companies need extra help on site, or if you have smaller work that doesn’t make sense for your larger equipment to be doing, bring me in!

  • water, storm, or sewer service installs and repairs, french drain installs, dry well installs, trench digging for hydro, tel, shaw, or gas, culverts

  • ill bring in what ever machine makes sense for the specific dig/backfill

  • grade out new driveways to be ready for concrete or asphalt, or repair older gravel driveways that need to be regraded.

  • smaller scale walls under 4ft

  • can haul in any materials you may need for those do it yourself jobs such as top soil, mulch, gravels, or load out that old material sitting in your yard.
