Kirby Contracting LTD is a small family run excavation business, established in 2022, based in Kelowna BC.

With over a decade of experience in the Civil and Gas industries, my construction knowledge and abilities are an excellent asset to help finish your next project. My exemplary skills in excavation and leadership have been key factors in my promotion to foreman and supervisory roles for previous employers. These positions have given me hands-on experience leading and organizing personnel, equipment and contractors to finish jobs efficiently and safely. My organizational and interpersonal skillset allows me to thrive in fast-paced, busy and evolving work sites. This makes my business an excellent candidate for working on jobs requiring coordination with other trades and contractors. Those who have worked with me can attest to my ability to complete jobs and tasks with extreme focus and organization, while maintaining the skills to pivot and adapt when the scope of work is changed.

Our Services

  • I will bring in any size machine required to safely and efficiently complete excavations

  • If you hire me for any of your pool digs I will show up with excavator, skid steer and a dump truck if required.

    Small demos such as old wooden sheds, decks, typically anything I can wreck with a smaller machine.

  • I am capable of installing smaller water/sewer services, digging up and repairing leaking water lines, or backed up sewer lines, fixing any pooling water on your property with a drainage systems like dry wells or French drains.

  • is your gravel driveway too rough from pot holes or is it not draining properly? I can fix those issues, or if you want to remove old asphalt or concrete so you can re grade and re pave or concrete, I can complete that for you!

  • If your looking for smaller loads of material brought to or from your work site or property, I can haul it!

  • I am capable of completing any kind of excavation work such as grading, lot prep, site prep, utility trenches, loading out stumps or smaller trees, footing digs and backfills, foundations, simple yard digs for irrigation, sod removal, or top soil spreading, loadings trucks, you name it, I can do it!

  • smaller scale concrete lock block walls under 4ft, and smaller rock walls under 4ft, just let me know where you want the rock hauled in from and we can make it happen!

  • Any companies that need an extra machine working on site for them, or doing the smaller work that you don’t want your larger machines doing, I am your guy, I will come out for as long as needed at an hourly rate.
